Kabuki and other key charcters.

This page will not only give you a quick profile on Kabuki, but will also give you a little bit of information on the characters that contributed to her creation, both as a person and as a Noh agent.

The General The General
When the general was a younger man, he led Japanese troops in the war. This is how he came to meet and fall in love with the comfort woman known as Tsukiko, who he had act out old kabuki plays for his troops, instead of letting her and the other girls be molested. After the war, he fell in love with young Tsukiko and had arranged to wed her, despite it being frowned upon for a Japanese man to wed an Ainu woman.

After Tsukiko's death, the General tried to raise her daughter as his own, for she reminded him of his departed love. After the daughters death he raised Kabuki to be the ultimate assassin for the agency of The Noh that he formed.

Up until his death, the General was known to dress up mannequins in Tsukiko's clothing, and even wear some of it himself to try and reassure himself of her presence.

Dove Kai
Kai was the Generals blood son, who fought for the Japanese during the war. He was quite the eccentric little warrior, who collected the fingers of Americans as trophies and wore them around his neck. When he found out that his father had disgraced the memory of his mother by falling in love with an Ainu woman, he was outraged.

The day before the wedding he found Tsukiko praying at her temple, and attacked her, raped her, carved the symbols of "kabuki" into her back, and cut out her eyes. He left thinking that she was dead, and did not return until he heard of a child that was born from that interaction. He found the child, young Ukiko, at her mothers grave one day, and he carved the symbols of "kabuki" into her face as well.

After this he disappeared to America, and then returned to Japan years later where he infiltrated The Noh and rose to power as a Japanese crime lord, before Kabuki killed him.

Devil Tsukiko
A young Ainu girl who worked on her family's farm who was taken away during the war to serve as one of the thousands of "comfort women" for the Japanese troops. Tsukiko was sent to the General, who did not use the girls for their intended purposes, but instead had them perform kabuki plays for the troops. At one point they ran out of costumes for her to wear, and she was dressed in the flag of the imperial navy, and her role is as a ghost who has come back to avenge her family.

After the war she is taken in by the General, and in time returns his love. The eve of their wedding she goes to a near by temple to pray, but is interrupted by Kai, who attacks and rapes her. Afterwards she slashed him across the face, so he retaliates by cutting out her eyes and carving the symbols of "kabuki" into her back. When she is found she is barely alive and pregnant. She died during the birth of young Ukiko.

Kabuki Ukiko
The spawn of Kai's hatred for Tsukiko, Ukiko is a living dishonor. She was raised by the General after her mothers died during her own childbirth. The General felt responsible for her and did everything he could to try and raise her as his own. He schooled her in both classical piano and ballet, and anything else that he thought a young girl should be taught.

Years later Ukiko was visiting her mothers grave when she first met her biological father. Kai had only recently learned of her existence and was enraged that his father would love and care for something that was born from his hatred. He met Ukiko on her mothers grave, and reminded her that she is "kabuki" by carving the symbols into the right side of her face. When the General found her, she was dead.

Paramedics rushed to save Ukiko, and for those nine minutes that she was completely flatlined, she was once again with her mother. Ukiko felt warm and safe, just as she had those nine months in Tsukiko's womb, but she told young Ukiko that she needed to return. She needed to return as a ghost, much in the same way she was in her kabuki plays.

The paramedics managed to bring Ukiko back to life, but to keep her safe from any further attacks from Kai, he signed her death certificate and enrolled her in private schools.

Scarab Kabuki
Kabuki was trained since her alleged death in all forms of hand to hand combat and weaponry, as well as ways of thinking "outside the box" and psychological warfare. Kabuki si the spokesperson for Noh TV, and also their top assassin.

She is rarely seen without her mask, and fights as a ghost for her mothers memories. It is not until her second death that Kabuki realizes that she is still Ukiko and that when she lets her internal scars heal, then her physical scars will no longer bother her.
