The Noh

The Noh is a government agency formed by the general with the purpose of policing the involvement of organized crime in the government.

The members of the Noh meet in a circle and are hidden behind masks. The only light in the room is a fire that burns in front of a picture of the general before when he was somewhat younger. the words are whispered and transmitted into the earpieces of the Noh operatives, and they see everything through ruby contacts that reads out information directly to their eyes.

To the public, The Noh is a pop culture icon that rules the airwaves and stands as icons for nationalism and order. They are believed to be computer generated animation used as scare tactics in crime. The theory is that the Noh is an organization so secret that it is public.

The General The General
When the general was a younger man, he leds Japanese troops in the war. this is how he came to meet and fal in love with the comfort woman known as Tsukiko, whom he was to marry before his son raped her. She died during the birth of young Ukiko. The general raises the young girl as his own, for she reminded him of her mother.

Years later he founds the Noh, and he bred the girl to be his top assasin. He sits on the board of directors but does most of the work in his own office, where he sits in front of a chessboard. The chess peices are shaped like the Noh aganets, and sitting across from him is a maniquin that he thinks is Tsukiko.

Kabuki does not kill the General with the other directors. Instead, she leaves him a gun with one bullet, and he shoots himself.

Dove Dove
Dove is the leader, of sorts, of the Noh. His motives are not known, as he knew of Kai's infiltration and said nothing as a means to infiltrate it deeper. When the board of directors declared Kai off limits, Dove ordered Kabuki to take him out, and the entirety of the board of directors. It is a possibility that Dove is, in fact, Kabuki's grandfather.

Devil Devil
Devil, also known as Oni, is the one who address the agents when the Circle of the Noh meets. He was the one who gave the orders to take out many of the heavy crime lords in Kyoto that were considered competition for Kai. It is later learned that Oni was Kai all along, using the Noh for his own purposes. See also: Kai's profile.

Raised off the streets most of her life, Scarab joined the Noh after the death of her best friend and boyfriend. The agency offered her a way tog et revenge by first infiltrating different speed tribes, and then eventually by being trained in the ways of the Noh. She is the one agent, besides Kabuki, whose past has been explored.

Ice Ice
Ice has razor sharp fingertips that are laced with poison. Her favorite weapon are shurikens made out of ice that she stores in a chamber in her forarm. Using a minicross bow, she'll shoot her target with sharp iciles in the eyes or ears, that way once they hit the targets brain, the heat will melt the ice and there is no evidence left.

Tigerlily Tigerlily
Only small parts of Tigerlily's past have yet to been revealed. We know that she loves comic books and used to use the cover of being a comic book artist when she first became a Noh agent. During Circle of Blood is the only time we see her wearing her uniform. She also replaced a former Noh agent, Paper Tiger.

Snapdragon Snapdragon
Noh agent whose weapon of choice is a whip and chain. Not much has been revealed yet about Snapdragon, with the exception of everything that her skimpy costume does not hide.

Butoh Butoh
Very little is known about the agent Butoh. Her weapon of choice is a folding fan made out of razor blades, and she is the first agent to fall during the attack on Control Corps in Metamorphisis.

Siamese Siamese
Siamese are two twin sister who were born joined at the shoulder. They were seperated and given mechanical limbs. These limbs are removable, and they have many different weapons that they can attach. They work in a unit.

Like most twins, one is very quiet while the other is pretty outgoing. The quiet one admires Kabuki because she lets her actions speak for her.

Board of Directors
They seemingly control the Noh agents, tell them who they should hit and who they should leave alone. When a crime boss who was declared off limits was killed by Kabuki, the directors asked her to chop her finger off to prove her loyaltie to them. Kabuki killed them all instead.
